Systems Thinking For Complex Challenges
A 3-hour collaborative workshop where we examine a problem, challenge, idea, or project through three different systems thinking models. By viewing challenges from multiple angles, teams gain clarity on root causes, hidden dynamics, and leverage points for change. Perfect for when you're stuck, overwhelmed, or know the obvious solutions won't work.

Thought Partnership
Strategic thinking support for anyone navigating complexity; from executive directors to team members organizing major projects. This is not coaching or consulting; this is deep listening for clarity through conversation and visual thinking. Working together monthly, as-needed, or project-based, we make thinking visible, surface patterns, and find pathways forward. I can also serve as a bridge between different working styles and generations, helping leaders support team members and helping team members think through their work.

Past, Present, Future Retreat
A focused three to six-hour retreat for teams or leadership groups. We map where you've been, honestly assess where you are, and clarify where you're headed. Participants leave with shared understanding, renewed perspective, and concrete next steps. Ideal for annual planning cycles, transitions, or when you need to reorient to purpose and vision.

Navigating Your Goals By Design
Research on organizational strategic planning shows that traditional goal-setting works well in stable, predictable contexts, but adaptive approaches are needed when organizations face complexity, uncertainty, and evolving environments (Chaffee, 1985; George et al., 2019). This work helps you design a custom goals process through education around setting goals in complex vs. simple environments and adaptive action planning cycles. Offered as a 3-hour Discovery Session or Year-Long Engagement.

Strategic Facilitation & Planning
Facilitating the conversations that matter most: strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, complex decision-making, and organizational transitions. Using visual facilitation and systems thinking, I help groups navigate complexity, build shared understanding, and design useful solutions.

Retreat Design & Facilitation

From board retreats to staff planning sessions, I bring structure that holds space for both strategic thinking and authentic connection. These retreats are focused on both slowing down and moving things forward.

Research & Discovery
Human-centered research to understand stakeholder needs, explore new opportunities, or investigate persistent challenges. Using design research methods, stakeholder interviews, and participatory approaches, I help organizations learn what they need to know to make informed decisions. Research is synthesized visually with actionable recommendations.

Visual synthesis of your strategic work, research findings, or organizational journey that is created iteratively and collaboratively. Outputs include visual frameworks, journey maps, systems maps, process diagrams, visual reports, and strategic narratives. Perfect for synthesizing research, documenting strategy, or creating visual frameworks that make your work communicable.
My Toolbox
My practice integrates multiple methodologies:
Art of Hosting and Liberating Structures for participatory design
Human Systems Dynamics and Systems Thinking for complexity navigation
Design Thinking and Design Research for human-centered problem solving
Brain-Based Coaching and VIA Character Strengths for individual and team development
Visual Thinking and Artist Practice for making the invisible visible
Lego Serious Play (coming soon) for hands-on exploration
I adapt and combine these approaches based on what your situation needs, not what a single methodology prescribes.
Getting Started
Every engagement starts with a conversation about what you’re facing and what you need. Together, we determine if this is the right partnership and what work might look like.
If it’s a good fit, I develop a proposal tailored to your needs, timeline, and budget.
We work together with regular check-ins and adjustments based on what emerges. The work stays responsive to what you’re learning and what you need.
